after many posts still no solution for "no led" notification via OnePlus 7T

I was looking for posts about this and many are old and offered no solution to the problem.
The absence of led notifications is a huge let down for me. I knew this when I bought the phone, so I tested apps in my OP6 before buying (with led off) to see if there was a replacement for this function.
Well, the apps worked fine in my OP6 and don't in the new OP7T. DAMN!

On one side, OnePlus makes fuzz about the Zen mode, to disconnect you for a while, and on the other side they force you to pick your phone regularly to see if you are missing something (a quick look to a led was enough) . Does this make any sense?

How can one force you to buy it?
You bought it in full awareness of what that device is missing.

Uh those apps you tested :
For starters, they're not developed by One Plus.
Secondly, when they were developed, Android 10 wasn't released yet so those apps couldn't be tested on Android 10 (obviously). And once Android 10 was released, maybe those developers didn't think about testing their apps again on Android 10 (you could simply check that by looking at the date of the latest release of the app : if it's before the Android 10 release date, then you have your answer)

I'm not hating on you but better to know all the facts before hating on something ;)

Edit : also, if you intend to reply to me, at least use the "reply" feature

Go ahead and use Notify Buddy from play store, it's free and you can have a led Notification wherever you want on screen.

For the record, Zen mode is totally different thing than missing a notification, it is meant to be missed in Zen mode.

I am using NotifyBuddy and does what I need for now, but it consumes way to much battery.
I think oneplus should provide a better way for this (should not be hard)

There are far more serious issues still present in current 10.0.5 version and OnePlus is busy with stable of 6/6T, 7/7Pro , 7T, 7TPro and their beta.

Not to mention that some of the majority issues includes ambient display and crashing of apps and camera improvement.

Notify Buddy hasn't been a battery hog on my unit. Thus far it's the only way I've found to make this happen easily. It has many options and customizations, even in the free version.
