For the phone which I returned on December 9, I have not got the invite. So, I have been following up with Amazon Customer Care every now and then.
Today, after I saw OPO was back in stock, I called them and what I heard from them was this.
1. OPO is still Out of Stock. When asked about why site is showing Available, It is a error from their catalog team and they will rectify it soon. (Within few minutes, I could see OPO went Out of Stock)
2. Amazon has not got any confirmation about resumption of OPO sales. So, until stock is back and confirmation from OPO team, no new invites will be sent and no new orders will be accepted.
3. When I informed about few forum members were able to place orders with the existing invites, I was told, those orders will most probably be cancelled as the real status is Out of Stock.
4. When asked about the invite, I was told that as soon as OPO is back in stock and OPO sales resumes, I will be given a new invite code. But, I have to wait till then and there is no exact timeline on when this will happen.
So guys, we have to wait and it will take some time at least until this weekend I guess. Amazon will launch some Bank Cashback offer during Christmas - New Year period and I hope OPO is back before that.
