Airtel 4G sim not working with JIO

I am not able to use Airtel 4G along with JIO 4G sim.
Infact swapping sims in slots did not work. However JIO is working flawlessly in either case.
Airtel confirmed the issue is not at their end.

It seems something related to using 2 4G sims simultaneously in a phone; but the point here is if this is the case, how come phone is always preferring JIO over airtel?

    Looking for resolution.

    Please help.

It because you can use only single 4g network at a time. If you make the Airtel sim network to 4g the other that is jio will loose network as jio network is just the 4g network. So you can only use one 4g network and the other one automatically gets converted into 3g or 2g network.

yeah, same problem in my op2. If I use jio SIM in 4g network then Airtel show the full network and when I switch 4g setting jio to Airtel then both the sim don't show any network

its only because only one sim can be at 4g both sims cant be at 4g. if sim 1 you have enabled 4g then sim 2 will be at 3g or 2g and that is how it works for other phones as well.

this is not a problem with airtel or jio. this is the way it goes.

Airtel 4G sim never worked having JIO sim in any of the slots. I also tried De-Activating JIO sim, still Airtel did not work.

Is there any way I can setup sim 2 network to 3G?

It is not the problem of device..unlike all other networks JIO operates only with 4G Network..if you select JIO Sim as your primary sim for internet it will work..Both sim will shows the network...but if you select the airtel or any other sim for internet the JIO turns off becz and second slot will automatically swtiches to 2g for calls only.Jio is not available in 2g.So this will happen in any phone not only oneplus.

As we know 4g network drains battery and heat up the device compared to 2g network. So oneplus kept one sim to use 4g while the other switches to 2g to maintain the heat and save battery. And the problem in Jio is that it only uses 4g network and the signal drops when you are using your other sim on 4g.

no issues here i use both Airtel and Jio in 4g speeds after my jio 1gb quota is over i switch to Airtel and the network is just as fast if not better
Try resetting your network settings in backup and reset in OP3.

yes jio in slot 1 and Airtel in slot 2. if the preferred data since is jio then both SIM will work. however if you choose Airtel as preferred SIM for data then jio will turn off as jio services are based on data

But not working in my case. If there is a JIO sim in either of the slots, Airtel sim does not detect signals.

Jio is only 4g network and no phone supports dual 4g active at same time .
So one will remain 4g other will be roll back to 3g/2g .
And in jio case there is no 3g/2g so no network .

    JIO+Airtel 4G : No signals in Airtel
JIO+JIO : Getting signals for both sims.

My point is why only Airtel is not getting signals.
