Alarm icon showing without setting an alarm

As you read, the clock icon on status bar is on all the time and after clearing all apps and kill backgrounds activities it may go for a while and show again.
The weird thing is you when pull the notification shade down and you got the date and the time on left corner, below that you see the next "set" alarm you set right?? What I'm seeing is [after one minute alarm time] all the time (screen shots attached).
It's not big but it's a bug that need be squashed.

Never mind guys, i just found one the apps using this feature to get reminders on the time by using "alarm API whatever thing" to prevent android from killing the app. It just added in the last update as i checked the change log.

    Not a OnePlus 7 Pro sub-forum
    This is a OnePlus 5/5T sub-forum

Don't bump old threads if you don't have a solution or anything else useful besides "Me too" or with absolutely no details whatsoever....
This is against the forum rules which you accepted when creating your first post on this forum...

I'm not sure which rules you're getting this from but I can't see anything about that not posting on old threads here: https://forums.oneplus.com/help/terms
I do believe that my post was on-topic because it shows that this is still a software issue that continues to this day. I'm not sure why you're displeased that I'm merely seeking a solution to a common problem we have. If I had the solution to this issue would I be prohibited from posting it simply because I don't have a OnePlus 5? That seems counterintuitive to actually fixing problems.

For unknown reasons that rule is not mentioned there...
But threads do get closed if people bump old ones without providing something useful to the thread...

You can post whatever you want in any sub-forum if it complies to the forum rules...
But seeking help in a different sub-forum that is not your device's sub-forum is basically borderline useless...

Well I do have a 5t and I'm having this problem so it's relevant regardless.

Anyone know which app it was? I think it's maybe one of the Kustom apps (KLWP / KWGT / KLCK). If I find out I'll post details.

For me it was Tasker, I just found it. Use the 3 dots in the top right for Preferences>Monitor>Use Reliable Alarms under the "General" section (it's the 4th one there) and then change it to "Never." If you change it to "When Off" then it will show the alarm on your lockscreen for a split second while your display turns on.

This worked, it was Tasker. Following your instructions removed the alarm.

    Cheers mate that's great.
