Wow. Thanks. That worked for me.
It was poorly visible little dust, so I didn't notice before.

Fix what? OnePlus can't fix user errors. Just like the user community can't fix stupid.

Cleaned and cleared some little dirt inside, but it doesn't helps.
I am going to nearest service centre to get it fixed, will update the thread if it is solved.

Giving the same reply thrice isn't going to make it start working again.

I completely agree with Iordmada. I also cleaned the upper side of the slider and it works fine.

Clean the inside of alert slider using a very thin pin, should work. Worked for me.

I had the same issue (cleaning didn't do the job), got the switch replaced 3 months ago and now the same issue again.

I've been having the same problem, just discovered how to make it work. If you press down on the slider as you slide it up, it will properly cycle through the sound/vibrate/silent modes. Hope this helps!

I have the same problem. I tried to clean it but doesn't solve the problem. Sometimes it works but if I repeat doesn't work until at least 20 times.
My phone is in warranty, 2 years at EU, but OP can't solve my problem because I live in Canary Island, Spain, and OP doesn't send to the islands. And before somebody aks me, I bought it in OnePlus store at Amazon Spain. So he can sell me a 6T and send me it home, but doesn't repair it. Incredible!
Now I'm trying to find a solution with Amazon but it seems stay some weeks without phone and spend some money to send it and to receive it again. Very poor service from OP
