Clear the sides of the alert slider with a toothbrush or a tooth pick. It's dust accumulation.

Had the same issue. I tried to put the slider to ring. And then restarted the phone. This worked for me.
Once this is done don't put it back to vibrate. it might again need a restart.

bro if it would be dust issue it won't have been problem in much device it's software because alert sliding is going from ring to vibrate so why it can't go from vibrate to silent is it would be dust issue it won't happen that much also

Have they updated OxygenOS to allow the alert slider to be ignored altogether? I would love to be able to go to ringer volume 0 using the volume rocker. Thanks!
