    Hey everyone,

    It's time for July's OxygenOS FAQs! Here, we sort out and answer the most frequently asked questions regarding our operating system, to give you all the info you need.

    Why doesn't the Super Macro feature open automatically in OnePlus 9's camera app?
    A: The OnePlus 9's camera app can now auto-enable the Super Macro feature. Please update your system to OxygenOS 11.2.8.8 to enable it. The Super Macro feature can help you auto-focus objects while shooting from a distance of 1-1.5 inches. If you don't need this feature, you can disable it in the camera settings here: Camera – the three dots in the upper right corner – SETTINGS – Auto macro.

    Q: Why is the Gallery on Google Play showing up as incompatible with the OnePlus 6/6T of Android 11?
    A: We've already fixed this issue on June 29. Please update the app to the latest version from PlayStore to avoid any glitches.

    Q: Why does "System" show a high percentage in the "Settings -> Storage"?
    A: The "System" not only shows the space occupied by the Android system but also the space occupied by other files that can't be classified into known categories, so % of the space occupied can show up as relatively high. (Known Categories: Photos and videos, Music & Audio, Games, Movie and TV apps, Other apps, Files). If you have any queries about the system and its storage, please go to customer service and submit the log file to help us analyze and optimize the Storage information.

    Q: Why can't I view the pictures or files of some OnePlus and third-party applications in File Management?
    A: Please don't worry, all the relevant data is still stored on the phone. This issue occurs because the Google team has hidden the Android/data & Android/OBB folders in Android as part of a privacy optimization policy, so some files in the File Management can‘t be viewed. If you need to check relevant information, please try to find it in the app. At the same time, you can also report this issue to the third-party application terminals or the OnePlus community bug feedback area. We will also actively promote the third parties to make relevant adaptations.

    Q: Why can't I find the call recordings in the File Manager? How can I share call recordings on Android 11?
    A: This issue occurs because the Google team has hidden the Android/data & Android/OBB folder to optimize the privacy policy. Hence some files in the File Manager may not be visible.
    If you want to share call recordings, please follow these instructions:
    Open Dialer APP - click the three dots in the upper right corner - Settings - Select "Call recording" – View all recordings - click the three dots on the right side - click "Share".
    Or you can use a USB to connect your mobile and your computer to transfer the call recordings.

    Q: Why is the new AOD of Nord 2 showing "No weather data available"?
    A: The weather info displayed on the Daydream AOD needs permission to access the app's location and city data to function. Please connect to the internet and open the Weather app to allow access and view the info.

    Why can't I share contacts through SMS directly?
    A: Contacts support sharing. Please go to the contact details page – click the three dots in the upper right corner - select "Share".

    Q: Why are the titles of apps misaligned in the app drawer?
    A: Due to Google's design, the app's name will be adjusted according to different space sizes.

    Q: Why can't I make a video call?
    A: There could be multiple reasons behind this. Video calls depend on the caller and the receiver but require carrier support as well. If the carrier does not support it or the receiver has an issue on their end, a video call might not connect.

    Why bluetooth is enabling automatically after phone switch on or after switch off the flight mode.

    Debris/moisturization detected on usb port after everytime i charge my oneplus 8 pro. After sometime the issue is getting solved automatically, but after sometime same issue is persisting.

    Plz help.
