All sensors destroyed by steam?

My accelerometer and gsensor don't seem to be working after I have left the phone in the shower.

After I picked up the phone forgetting it in the shower at the cottage, I noticed condensation behind the camera lens. Thought it was ok but reading that the phone is somewhat water proof I assumed steam wouldn't not enter hardware side. Maybe just that glass piece. Then I noticed that videos would not flip when I turn my phone to landscape position.

So I decided try drop it on my blanket to see if camera retracts during the fall, and it did not. Can steam really cause this?

    Regards.

Note, I don't have a spare device to use.

Some more information. Seems like accelerometer is no longer detected.

Install aida64 to check phone and Quick Tuneup to try sensor calibration

    Yes it can.

    Well then you are boned.

Turn the phone off and leave it in uncooked rice for a couple of days, it may help but there are no guarantees.

It seems like some sensors are completely missing from the list.

It's weird that phone works fine but all sensors are just dead. I'll contact their tech support and see what they say

I imagine they'll say something along the lines of.....

"warranty does not cover water damage"

This could be an expensive repair.

As @Matt 80 said, do consider putting it in a box of raw rice for 2-3 days, it works wonders.
Going to the service centre might just void your warranty and it might prove very expensive to fix this.

    Goodluck!
