All things considered, since this is a 'Flagship killer'

If 1+1 is successful as the flagship killer, other companies would follow and reduce the prices of their phones to something similar.

If this happened, would you purchase a different phone? If so, which phone

To simplify, any phone for $300, what would you get?!

i don't like the HTC One, the GS5 and love the bezels but hate the plastic looks of the G2 possibly G3 too.
the Xperia Z has huge bezels and i generally dislike sony

what else is there? Motorola.. they have 1 kind of midrange end phone which is only available in america with their moto maker options..

    WHAT ELSE?

the find 7 looks attractive but i dislike the button layout

    aaaaaaand...
there is the One Plus One which suit all my needs!

I would probably get the HTC One M8 as well, I like the size, and the internal specs aren't far off of the OnO

Sony Z2 or One M8 if it drops but it would never happen. Big companies aren't just looking to make small profits or no profits.

Another annoying WOULD Thread, they won't reduce the prices. Nevertheless, the Oppo Find 7a is again available, shipping within 16 May

Hmm if that happened, I think I would end up going with either the Sony Xperia Z2 or the Moto X (although at this point its floating around that price point. The HTC One M8 would be another strong contender and I think I would still consider the OnePlus One/Oppo Find 7a as a phablet option.

Probably another Nexus phone depending on the specs. for the most part I have been pretty happy with that line of products.

One of the big draws for this phone is the lack of bloatware (or at least let's hope so); so the Nexus line would probably be in line for me then.

HTC does make the best hardware and speakers. They suck at cameras though.
