hy, my phone oneplus 9 with android 12 build le2113_11_c.44, my problem is that when a block the display when alway-on display is activated, the display turn on immediately, and at any little move the display turn on, it seems that the sensibility is very high

Turn off the "Show Fingerprint Icon" setting, under Settings.
I was a bit frustrated by this too, trying to figure out why it wasn't possible to disable AOD, but in reality OP has several settings that "affect this", from various methods (not sure why, it's quite confusing, IMHO)...

guys. New here. Been using OnePlus 6 and switched to OnePlus 9 recently.
After Android 12 update (C44 currently), is there an option to show "display message" on lockscreen, without Always-on-display, as it was on Android 11 and older?

I have had to turn off the AOD completely, since LE2113_11_C.47 update every time I lock my OP9, the screen is off for a second, then AOD lights up, maybe its just because it annoys me so much but it feels like a full minute it stays on for sometimes, and it is very sensitive even the slightest of movement without even touching the screen and it lights up again.
I used to love it pre-update when it was only activated by a screen tap, to quickly check the time or notifications, but this is horrid for those who don't want it.

I don't see the logic in it, I've locked the phone, I want the screen off, why is there a 1-2 second delay then it LIGHTS UP AGAIN

TBH this update has really brought the phone down in my opinion, everything seems very boxy and fonts seem to have went "bold" and many notifications don't make it to the AOD (none are now, it's kaput because its so annoying). To top it off I feel like I'm getting nearly half the battery life aswell, I think maybe to do with the step counter that magically enabled itself.

You can set it to be on "power saving", scheduled between a certain on/off time, always on, or at the top there is a slider to turn it off completely

Please OnePlus, add an option to have this feature activated by TAP ONLY

This is a massive issue - please get the single tap option back.
Also, the lack of notifications on AOD and lock screen is a huge bummer. My Messenger chats just won't show on AOD and the lock screen.

I'm seriously thinking of rolling back to Android 11. This update is an absolute disaster.
