There are apps available in the play store which will do what you want but they consume a lot of battery.

I'm not sure it is an option but if you can find it again and direct us to it that would be helpful

you can use 3rd party apps like "Glance Plus" buy the pro version to make the glance brighter. worked like a charm. display every notification, and able to peek the notification.

No,it's not a feature of 5T. And refrain from installing junkware from playstore to do it for you.

Always on amoled is probably the best app from the play store IMO. It doesn't consume much battery, but face unlock doesn't work with it properly. 1516947856455.jpg

i am not still able to understand why people are migrating from samsung galaxy s8 to OP5T,i mean clearly everyone knows that samsung s8 offers more features than lower cost flagship killer like OP5T.

I had an s8 and now using 5t. The 5t is by far a superior phone in every way.

i have 2 questions for you, first do you miss the qhd display of the s8 as opposed to the 1080p amoled panel on OP5T, secondly if you find OP5T superior to s8, then why spending all those hard earned extra money to buy a galaxy s8/s8+

SMH. You are complaining that there is no Always On feature? Was it advertised as having such a feature?

Samsung spent a lot of money on specialized hardware to develop the always on display. In the always-on mode, it is similar to the OnePlus Ambient Display but goes a few steps further. The pixel clock of the graphics output and refresh rate are dropped WAY down. The number of colors are reduced from 24 bit (16M) to 8 bit (256), also to reduce clock frequencies, etc.

The OnePlus doesn't have the right hardware. Its not missing, its just a not a Samsung! It doesn't have Samsung Pay either because it doesn't have the hardware to spike magnetic fields to fool card readers.
