I'll have to double check the specs but off the top of my head I think ~90Ghz max bandwidth is somewhere in the range of 2Gb/s which is speeds only heard of with a direct fiber connection before now.

honestly in our world right now there's not much use for 2Gb/s speed for the average user. however if you asked someone in 1990 if they would ever need 500kb/s they would have laughed and said never. this technology is far more future proof than existing networks.

5G also has several other benefits such as being less susceptible to crowding in dense areas. We've all had that loss of service in massive crowds before. 5G is the solution to that, or at least part of the solution.

The premise of my question is when 3G was introduced it was said it would make wifi of no use. Same was said during the inroduction of 4G (LTE). With the advent of 5G it becomes important to understand the importance of wifi 6 in the future and what would be the landscape of connectivity in the 5G and wifi rich future.

When it was 2g we were satisfied, 3g we were happy, 4 g same speed but lowered the speed of 3g and now 5 g.! Whether this will work more fast than 4g or it will only reduce the speed of 4g or it will b upgraded version of 4g.

Now coming to 5g phones... Whether 4g phone will not support 5g? If no then whether 5g speed will satisfy the user in internet and when 6g is expected.

Coming back to top... We were satisfied with 2g then, and now why 5 g... Whether it is really required and what will b its consequences...? Adverse as well.

And when can this 5g be fully implemented in India as there is network issues in some areas and hardly get network then whether this 5g will b useful in such remote areas?

Radiation of 5G frequencies with the amount of energy carrying is unable to change molecular structure of cells. UV light from sun can and does. If you are going outside in Bristol area during daylight you let the sun change the molecular structure but do not panic about this.

How come that countries and areas without a single 5G antenna are getting this disease if it should be related to 5g?

Where do you get your numbers for Bristol from?

@Sat K Do you believe that 5G is a necessity in Indian handsets in the near future (1-2 years), seeing as we caught up with 4G just a few years ago and even that infrastructure isn't fully developed. Was adding 5G in the Indian models really necessary and worth the additional cost?
