My question to @Ignacio Contreras : When will base stations be ready for 5G network so that when we will be buying 5G enabled devices we can experience the throughput improvement? Whether Qualcomm is working on 5G enabled drones as well ?

My question is to @Sat K : In past, we have heard news like 5G radio waves are harmful to birds. So what are your thoughts on this.

Hello @Sat K and @Ignacio Contreras. So we have seen people talking about the coverage limitations of 5G, especially mmWave. Is there any way in which these hurdles can be overcome with software optimizations, considering the fact that it is not feasible to place cell towers at every block?

@Sat K Since 5G is a technology that requires presence of network towers in very close quarters, how long do you think it will take for it to grow into you are reasonably accessible technology for the general public in a country like India?

Now that the 5g modems support sub 6 and mmWave will its be able to support more types of 5g bandwidths in the future or is the hardware not capable enough?

This would never be answered but here we go...

My question is for @Ignacio Contreras.

I get that you're a company and you need to maximize your profits but most of the users of the SD 865 phones are never going to use those 5G modems by their phone's end of life cycle. Is this additional revenue which comes with it's economic costs, additional carbon footprint and extra e-waste really worth it?

    Hi @Sat K ,

Will I be able to use the 5G technology on my existing OnePlus 5 device? Or does it require me to buy a new phone?

    hi team whatup y'all

@Ignacio_Contreras So how do plan to make 5G devices feasible across all buyer capacity for a price sensitive market such as India? Are all manufacturer on board for this ( like OnePlus is) ? I'm a final year MBA student so that's why I'm so curious about how you(Qualcomm) are planning to fuse with Software giant Google and Mobile giant BBKs subsidiary Oneplus to achieve a profitable yet customer oriented product !?
