    Hey @Evan Z.

India is your biggest market , without any doubt , and a market where 5G is atleast 2 years away * at the very least , wih the ongoing COVID-19 economical effects * . Does the 8 series still push 5G into a country with absolute zero , not even spectrum guidelines laid , 5G network capability.

Wouldn't just licensing the phones with 4G ,w/o 5G be a much better and economical route in India ?

@Evan Z. Why does the OnePlus 8 Pro come with a punch-hole camera rather than a pop-up camera like last year? Me and a lot of others feel like this is a step backwards in terms of design and experience. The bezel-less design of the OnePlus 7 Pro was liked by many customers and reviewers.

@Zach X. thanks for hosting the AMA:)

My question goes to @Evan Z. - OnePlus 8 Series Product Manager:
The OnePlus 8 series has already become quite expensive: Do you think that after the Corona pandemic the prices for the components will become cheaper again? Then OnePlus could again offer the best hardware at lower prices (compared to the competition) and more people could afford OnePlus (again) - as they did with the OnePlus One, OnePlus 2 and OnePlus 3.
    Thanks and cheers:)

What networks & retailers will stock the Blue OnePlus 8 Pro in the UK as for some reason only the other 2 colours are available.

Covid 19 made everyone unemployed... How can you ask €999 for the pro, when the S20 plus is €800...

There is no reason to go with the 8 pro at that insane price... Will there be a 4g edition with a lower price?

This is one of the saddest moments, I feel like i've been betrayed by a company who has been defined by "flagship killer" (top end parts at a low-medium price range") and now we are witnessing prices that are in the realm of Samsung, Apple, Huawei. I still can't believe that this is happening, specially in this time, when people are unemployed.
You managed to become the flagship that you "killed" so many times in the past. Sad.

The Popup "event" wasn't really an event, and wasn't what most of the people expected it to be, It was really disappointing to stay almost 3 hours watching everything just to see that it was just a matter of luck when trying to obtain the bundle, now it asks for an invitation code, which doesn't seem to appear anywhere, really, what a shame, I really wanted to jump into the OP 8 pro family.

Will the unlocked versions of the 8 series support Verizon's 5G, or will it only work on the devices sold through Verizon?

Oneplus was always my favorite smartphone brand, im using the oneplus 2. I buyed it in 36k in Bangladesh. I saved my 2 years student money to bought this phone. I wanted to upgrade to the op8 pro. But, its overpriced too much. Why would you gyz go beyond our budget? Its too much expensive now.

not really related to Oneplus 8 pro directly, but more so all your phones running Oxygen OS,
when recording videos, the audio it records it weak, i'm talking about recording music,
playing music from the phone, then recording.
has been a bug for 3+ years now.

Why is Canadian Pricing absolutely out of exchange value? Also why is it that there is no launch buddle with the 8 pro in Canada considering it's even more than the iPhone 11 pro?

@Evan Z. Why you guys using that aggressive curved screen. It may look better but usage is most important than looks. Even Samsung who started using a curved screen now in its latest s20 series nailed the screen by just curving the black edges. Better use a display that has symmetrical bezels on all the four sides, that's why iphones are better in looks. You guy telling that you making even minute changes to make the design best, but you are making an asymmetrical design that is hard to use and hold in hand. May I know why your design team fails in these aspects?
Even MKBHD told in his impressions that OP8pro having a curved display that causes accidental touches.
