    Did you enable the option "double tap to wake" ? Because if that's the case, it will override the "tap the screen to show"

    place a torch on your selfie camera and on the sensors for ten seconds and then try. It will work.​


    Torch? Flashlight?

    Restart your phone and place the torch light near the speaker grill where the sensors are for at least 15 seconds and flash the light around and it'll be fine. Ensure the ambient Display option remains on throughout.
