Make sure you installed the right ADB Driver on your computer to make the Phone connection working.
    http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2588979

Try your migration tool again after that.

You can manually check if your phone has a connection with Android SDK Slim

I have downloaded both files in the first post, but they just come down as folders with a bunch of files in them, none of them being a flashable .zip-file that I can find in TWRP... Where is the freakin .zip-file??

Hi. I'm having the same situation as the guy above. I have downloaded both files in the first post, but they just come down as folders with a bunch of files in them, none of them being a flashable .zip-file that I can find in TWRP... Where is the .zip-file??

Need some help guys. I'm currently on Oxygen OS 1.0.0, and I want to try this "touchscreen-fix" out, but I can't figure out how to flash it onto my phone. I have TWRP installed already, have downloaded both the files uploaded in the first post of this thread.

First of all, can someone tell me the difference between the two files?
    https://s3.amazonaws.com/oxygenos.oneplus.net/ONE_12_A.01_15600.zip.md5"
Is there a difference, do I need them both, or just one of them? I have no idea, and I have searched the forums frantically without finding out...

Second of all, once downloaded they just seem to be folders filled with a bunch of other folders/files that I don't know what they are, but there is no flashable zip-file to be found. So when I transfer them onto my phone and boot into TWRP to flash it, I can't find a flashable file in those folders... I'm on a Mac, but I'm not sure if that has anything to do with this...

This is how the folder looks to me after downloading the above-mentioned files:

    Download https://s3.amazonaws.com/oxygenos.oneplus.net/ONE_12_A.01_15600.zip

It is the flashable .zip file. It is the operating system that you want to install on your phone.

.md5 files are only there to check your .zip file of download problems.
Open this md5 file with notepad and copy that hash code.
    https://s3.amazonaws.com/oxygenos.oneplus.net/ONE_12_A.01_15600.zip.md5

Once you have checked the .zip file in a md5 checker, you can paste the md5 hash code into the checker and see if there was a problem downloading it.

    http://getmd5checker.com/

Once you have that .zip file on your phone's sdcard memory, you can start to install it via TWRP.

This is how to enter TWRP:

You need to power off your phone first. Then, after it’s shut down, hold simultaneously the ‘Power’ button and the ‘Volume down’ button for a few seconds (if this does not work out, try with Power and Volume Up - the combination might vary across devices). Then, release them and you should see a list with options.
Choose 'Recovery', and your phone will load up the custom recovery software that you've already installed.

But its actually easier to install it via PhilZ Touch and adb sideload as i described it in one previous post.

    Update:
I dont know how to open the Shell on MAC for Android SDK Slim to run the adb commands

Got that, thanks. But now it's still the same. Your tools tell me the device is connected properly and is beeing seen by my computer and by the Migration Tool.

So, now I am still having the same problem. What to do?

    plancer , Aug 21, 2015 :
    Phone must be connected
Go into recovery mode (Vol- and Power Button)
    Apply Update -> from adb

Now type adb sideload and drag that .zip file into CMD. hit enter
    https://s3.amazonaws.com/oxygenos.oneplus.net/ONE_12_A.01_15600.zip

try to install it that way.

if not working, try my whole guide written on page 24.
This guide will erase all your personal data on your phone. FYI

Gonna try tonight :) thanks a lot!

Put the .zip on my phone (internal memory); could "apply update" - "from internal memory" work?

Now got this error; while on sideload ADB (like you said) and by apply update from internal storage: "failed to verify whole-file signature" - ADB stops sending/loading file around 42%.

Gotta wipe something first? Don't I need ROOT?

Tried some more; Migration Tool says "Finished"
Make sure the following in Settings - Developer options:
    - Update Cyanogen recovery: off
    - Android debugging: on
    - Verify apps over USB: off -> this is where it went wrong in the first time :)

How to check if the update is applied? - without waiting for the ghost issues to occur.
    Got the following:
    - Model name: A0001
    - Cyanogen OS version: 12.0-YNG1TAS2I3
    - Android version: 5.0.2

    -- update --
Still got some ghost issues. Might try manual ADB; maybe the update did not finish..?

Then it's stuck in Recovery mode. Applying update doesn't work at all. Now what? Backup, unlock bootloader, wipe cache/dalvik and flash this ROM (or another one)??

Downloaded the newest Android SDK for Windows; build 24.
Followed the steps above; still stuck at 47% (never got stuck at 42% xD - I meant 47%).

    Always the same error.

    WHYYY?

Can't I just send it back and let the technicians at OnePlus fix it for me? Maybe just replace the touchscreen for another one?

Tried different computers, different USB cables (short ones and longer ones), different USB ports.

All data gone. STUPID ONE PLUS.
Thanks a lot community; appreciate the help.
Just wanted to send my phone back and get it fixed over there. But OnePlus told me to follow these steps "at your own risk" - I'm eating sandwiches at my own risk too.

Got everything in my OneDrive tho.

Touchscreen problem STILL NOT FIXED. NOW WHAT ONE PLUS?

Think I'm gonna search more. Guys at Reddit also have solutions to fix the problem while wiping all data. Any help appreciated on how to get the touchscreen-fix-zip flashed on my phone.

Still touchscreen problems. I have to admit it's less then before, but still.

Please replace my touchscreen! And please stop lying it is a software problem.. You could try making a software fix by making the touchscreen less responsive or filter out strange touches, but the problem is bigger.
