A reminder to all.... Oxygen OS has almost nothing to do with the OnePus One... We were promised updates for Cyanogen, by Cyanogen. We will be getting that.
Oxygen OS is all about the collapse of the relationship with Cyanogen and having their own OS for the products that follow the One.

I've got to say, while I am just as disappointed by this failure as everyone else, my disappointment is not so much caused by the lack of Oxygen OS, but because I see this as a bad omen that CM12S is going to follow suit shit-kicking ambiguous delays.

While I am interested to see what Oxygen OS has to offer, I have no intention to switch over from BlissPop because I highly doubt that OP's offering will be able to compete with CM based OS. I think it's more so a ploy to shift our attention from CM IF it should ever happen that the relationship between CM & OP completely dissolves.

Doesn't really matter to me because as long as I can flash ROMs I will be sticking with CM based OS, whether they're officially supported by OP or not. As it stands the OPO is the best device money can buy, and I will continue to look to OnePlus for my hardware & Cyanogen for my software regardless of where they're professional relationship stands.

So in conclusion, my disappointment lies more so in a sign of things to come for the CM12S release :-(

I hope the release will be accompanied by an official guide and tools for the installation.

I suspect CM12S is ready already they just delay it because they want to release Oxygen OS first. Or together. Proof me wrong. It's just not right. It's stinks.

Do you make it a regular habit of reading between the lines? In case you haven't noticed the only thing you'll see is blank space.

Same process you would use to install any other ROM..

    - Android SDK/ADB Package of your choosing
    - Team Win Recovery Project (or comparable Custom Recovery)

    - Unlock your devices boot loader via ADB if you've not already done so
    - Download Oxygen OS Zip
    - Perform Factory Wipe via TWRP
    - Flash Oxygen OS
