Android 10 Update Keyboard Gap Space under keyboard

    Rage_hardscope , Oct 21, 2019 :
I have attached photos of before and after the update to android 10.

In short, after the update, it is not possible to make my keyboard as small/short as it used to be before the update. This has made the keys huge and spaced too far apart for fast typing to be comfortable.

Also there is now a huge gap at the bottom of the screen which pushes the keyboard up the screen and now I have to relearn where all the keys are and it wastes precious screen real estate.

    Please fix

I agree with this complaint, massive empty space down there, apparently saved for some buttons that we have removed in exchange of actions...

But why would I want to remove those buttons if I'm not gaining anything (screen real estate) by doing so? I'd hope for a fix about this...

Guys, this is by design by Google. Nothing OnePlus can do about it.

    I think it's great!

Not exactly. Samsung phones will also have this gape since Android 10 update coming out. Check the One UI 2.0 beta mockups. This feature is provided by Google since Android 10.
