Thats normally how life works, why do you think they would give it to an older phone rather than the flagship model, it wouldnt encourage people to go for the newer model if the older model was getting the same updates at the sime time as the flagship.

This is what it looked like on my 8pro but as with early betas it defo isnt refined enough to be considered for use if your using the phone as your daily device. Id wait for the public beta unless you are a developer or bug hunter

This is the normal thing with carrier...turn to your carrier and ask for betas. They will not give you one ofcourse.... But they are the ones controlling the firmware. On 7 Pro when 10 came T-mobile had some beta of their own.

After some tweaking everthing is working fine on mg 8Pro with 11. Only remaining issue is the keyboard is just not responsive enough. I cant use googles keyboard right now had to install swiftkey to even be able to use the space bar. my assistant works fine. I had to retrain it but it works on my phone. not sure if thats cause i joined the beta in the play store a while back or not but works fine. every thing is pretty good, missing a few oxyven apps actually.

Yes, you would want to deliver the final release to all users of the latest handset before the previous ones. But as a preview, you might want to make it available on the not so recent handset, as there will be a much larger base of potential testers - including the likelihood that for owners of multiple handsets they would keep the latest on tested release software, whilst using the older kit for testing more experimental software.

Whilst this is true, they have no rush to release this at the same time as for the flagship because they will not be releasing Android 11 on older models at the same time as the newer models
