With what? DPs has v5 of the launcher. Not so sure there is any update of that other than the ones that already comes with the DPs.

Hes back on Android 10, so he will have v4

You are telling me what I already know. The only reason for my that comment is, Oneplus should also bring this kind if OTA update from beta to stable without complete format or installation & nothing wring in it.

Went back to latest Android 10 for the 8Pro and realized Dual Sim is not fixed for NA as it is in DP2; so for a daily test driver, DP2 is my preferred: I no longer need a separate phone for my other sim.
Battery is atrocious, 2 full charges daily, and device overheats.
    Cannot merge calls into conference
Have WhatsApp as Parallel app and 4/5 more icons appear on home screen
Bluetooth recognized my Bullets Wireless Z-Buds easily but app caches when connecting in car
Wireless charger very slow to charge; USB-C Warp charge works

I'm sure it wipes for a good reason and to avoid compability issues. One rollback for many situations solution. A rollback that does not wipe is often made with a specific version in mind.
I assume the wipe is more common now on A/B partion devices. It did not wipe on older Oneplus devices without A/B.

For those on DP2, are you using the stock dialer or the google dialer patched from xda?

I am using pixel as well and also oneplus. If u want to downgrade then yes you have to wipe but aa of now I am on beta 11 and when the stable version will be released it will update on the sw beta. No need to wipe. For downgrading u need to wipe. It's just a suggestion and I hope in future all other companies will work on it. Less problem and can get more beta testers in this way. Rest who don't want will not update.

I dont want to break my phone, dont sure of the a better camera performance if i try the andoid 11 beta version. I'll stick with 10 for sure ad wait until 11 is stable enough.

Been running DP 2 since day one, all of a sudden this afternoon my phone went into a bootloop. I'm able to get it booted up after a factory reset from recovery but as soon as I connect to WiFi it goes back into the bootloop

Really bummed. Bricked today. Was charging when I picked up to check something phone was in recovery. I can wipe phone, start setup again but as soon as I get to the wifi connection and it begins to download updates, the phone reboots back into recovery. Arggg.... I also didn't unlock OEM or enable USB debugging before the problem started so I cant flash it using a recovery tool. Any ideas?
