Hi there. Everybody knows that: KitKat is best Android version ever. Good stability, battery. No f* material design, beautiful, dark Holo theme.

So I want to ask, when should we expect stable KitKat build for Oneplus3?

I have to admit kitkat rocked, and lollipop completely sucked @ss, but marshmallow is awesome. You might be able to find someone to roll a KitKat build, but I wouldn't expect the fingerprint scanner to work without OP's help ...and they won't.

I thought about that, but then again my OPO is over 2 years old. I'm tempted to get a new battery soon, it would be nice to check marshmallow with a fresh battery.

I would love to see the result, however people with newer OPOs do not really jump over here and sing praises of that battery life on marshmallow

True, but the newest ones are still about a year old. If I get one I'll post the results.

Sorry not gonna happen....it is impossible to downgrade android version without source codes (mainly kernel source) from manufacturers...even custom rom like CM can't make a rom without those source codes...OP3 run on Marshmallow as default and that is the lowest android version for OP3 and you can't go lower then that...

    Sad but true.
Also would like 2 have KitKat back... that 0 battery drain while phone in idle was just 2 crazy... 3 days of use without any problems.
and than the journey started.... new doesnt mean good all the time... :-/
imo whole money spent for lp and mm was wasted money.
maybe security got better... but who cares.

KitKat was the best in terms of battery life but I doubt it would be available on OP3.
