Give us a source for this then. I've always been under the impression batteries degrade after 500 cycles, but that's just what I've read here and there. I've never heard anyone say what you did, and I've seen quite a lot of people change their batteries on here. Why did they bother?

Never heard what I said? Haha weird.
It was all on this forum a little while back. And even on facebook and other news channels you read a lot about it.

I'm on my 4th smartphone now, and their batteries always peformed consistent. Only software updates (like OPO going to LP from KK) change the battery's behaviour.

The lithium batteries on smartphones are smarter than before. I can assure you.

Oh yeah, it's not because a lot of people do something or believe something that they are actually right. Mostly they are not informed well, and just blindly follow the group ;) (same as iphone fanboys)

KitKat is way better. You can do all the same as on Marshmallow. With better battery life, better performance and better look. Well, we want KitKat.

My opinion: Oneplus should drop all Nougat work immediately. Instead, start working on upgrade from Marshmallow to better system KitKat 4.4. I assume you all agree

I might just be an old dude living in old times, but I call bs. How can a battery go from new stats to dead without noticeable change, outside of software changes. When I order a new battery I will do a series of tests before and after. Any suggestions?

Not necessary lol. It's total BS, as Google can inform anyone. I note he didn't come back with any sources other than to mention Facebook and this forum. Must be true if it's on such reputable scientific sites!

Battery absolutely wears off over time, lots of scientific data exists to prove it. Even after one year, there is a difference. After two years, big difference.

Lol, I just couldn't care more about this topic.

Be dumb like 90% of the other people and waste your money on new batteries ;)

    You're one a million.

I'm a million in one mate.

Your 'sources' are just people who are as dumb as you to write an article about shit they dont know. They think that batteries wear off after a while. But guess what? They don't know shit

With all due respect, you do not know what you're talking about and its funny how confident you are about it. Do some research on lithium ion batteries. Like, actually go do it. Please. Thanks.

I'm one source. I'm an electrical design engineer and I have specified lithium ion batteries for use in wireless devices, designed lithium ion battery charge circuits, wireless charging circuits, etc. So actually, I do know shit.
