I just installed Marshmallow on my 2013 Nexus 7 last night via flashing factory image. I must say it's much more better than Lollipop.. Smooth scrolling and animation.. Battery life seemed to be better than 5.1.1... Just gut feeling I don't know.. Higher frame rate when playing nfs, Asphalt 8 etc.. I wish that opo and op2 will hv 6.0 soon.. Pray

Did the exact same thing to my Nexus 7 last night. I'm loving it too but I wish it had more features.

    That's the magic of Doze.

... And Marshmallow is not avaliable for my Nexus 10. Nearly 2 years since I've had it but it still is a great performer.

I wiped my 2012 N7 last night, reflashed a factory image (just to clean everything up), did a twrp backup and then flashed CM12. Figured it's being left behind by Google, so it's time to move on to be able to get Marshmallow.

Ugh my Nexus 7 died a couple of weeks ago after 2 years of exemplary service. Gutted.

You know i resisted flashing the stock factory image of marshmallow for the nexus 6, but i've heard nothing but good things about it.

I was waiting for Marshmallow nightlies of CM.

I hear getting r00t on stock Marshmallow is a huge ordeal

Getting root on stock Marshmallow is as easy as flashing a SuperSU 2.50+ TWRP zip. As long as you got TWRP recovery, you're good.

I flashed the TWRP version of the Nexus 5 Marshmallow factory image. The standby battery life and smoothness have improved. The Screen on time didn't get much better though. Got my OPT arriving tomorrow, hopefully it doesn't drain too much on standby.
