Android Auto inOne Plus 7 Pro is not working properly with my Pioneer Head Unit AVH-Z9190BT. I have also tried 2/3 cables including the original cable. There is no such problem in my old OnePlus 6. Why it is happening? Any body can help???

Same with OP7. I believe it's incompatibility of AA with Pie. Found some workarounds but don't seem to always work (Developer mode - Set background processes to 2)

For anyone still following this thread; I tried for days to get my Android auto working on my OP7 pro. I even rooted the phone and installed LineageOS, tried various cables that I owned. The car was fine as it worked flawlessly with my Pixel 2.

It eventually came out as being a cable issue. Even the red cable provided by OnePlus didn't work. I bought EasyAcc short usb to usb C cables and it now works, though I also have the usb default as File Sharing, unknown sources on, and resolution up to 1080p (Android auto developer options).

I've since put the phone back to stock OxygenOS and it still works.

I hope it helps someone else who's stuck, as I had almost given up hope!
