On Volkswagen it takes over a minute before Android auto starts.
On Ford (Sync 3) Android Auto just starts randomly, sometimes it helps with reconnecting the phone and sometimes not.
With a Xiaomi phone on Android 11 it works reliable on both cars.

    Okay,..
Can you please (again) clear cache of Android Auto, of Google App and of GooglePlay Services?
    Then restart the device

I have already reinstalled maps, Android Auto itself is a part of Android and can't be uninstalled.
Mayby I should exit the OP beta program and go for the stable build. It did work perfect on Android 10.

You're not the only one. Oneplus 8 pro and a Seat Tarraco and the same issue. It takes forever for Android Auto start on te official Android 11 version. It was working fine on Android 10.

I have a 2020 VW Atlas Cross Sport with OnePlus 9 Pro, Android 11. Went into developer options and enabled USB debugging, and loaded Android Auto immediately. No more minute plus wait.

I have already done the procedure "wape cache partition" this morning but It doesn't change anything.
Sometimes i have tjis message regarding the One Plus Launcher too.
