    Disttrack , Apr 26, 2022 :
When I connect my oneplus 8t to android auto via wifi, I get a message in the apps indicating that I have no internet connection. I have tried to allow apps to connect in the background, I have activated the "Mobile data always active" option in the developer options, I have cleared app data and reconfigured but none of this works. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Oxygen 12 with update C.16. In Oxygen 11 was working fine.

Before reporting a bug I wanted to ask if there is any option that I am missing to make it work correctly. Thanks for the reply.

@Disttrack did you manage to get anywhere with this?
I have the same issue with my 8T since Android 12 update.
If i toggle the wifi it usually reconnects to AA and also allows mobile data, but its hit and miss.
this is the only real issue i have with the android 12 update but it is a big issue for me.

Oneplus 10 Pro on A12 works with data and wireless AA, so I know they are capable of making it work. BUT... now whenever I run Android Auto wireless, when I come home and turn off the car, the phone will refuse to auto connect to my known networks after. It's stuck on mobile data unless I manually go into wifi settings and click join network.

If I leave the coverage area and return, it won't reconnect unless I manually join again. Same if I toggle wifi off/on. The only fix is a reboot, then it connects fine again. It's so strange how many issues Oneplus is having with this feature.
