Android Auto if it decides to connect to my car's navigation system won't lock phone. The 6T wasn't an issue but it is with the OP Pro 7. The phone is paired with the car and if lucky Bluetooth might work. Handsfree driving is hit or miss.

you might need to adjust the battery optimization. try turning off deep optimization and see if it helps.

I have installed many music apps and the only one that seems to work is Amazon music every single other app doesn't even show up as an options to use as a default music app, the apps themselves work fine but the main issue I'm trying to get over is that Android auto doesn't even recognize any other music apps cause it only sees the three available as music apps on the phone by default including Google music Amazon music and a third that I don't know

I have no issues with AA and my OP 7P. It's been fine. I would recommend deleting the BT pairing and do it from scratch again.

It's also helpful to know what phone variant you are using. I have the TMO variant that was converted to Intl software.

I also have this issue. When you say 'start from scratch', what exactly does that entail?

Unpair your phone. Go into AA app and clear cache and data. Go back into AA and re-pair to your car.

Thanks. My specific issue is with the auto app not recognizing other music apps. I have cleared the cache and data. I have also reinstalled the app. Multiple times, to no avail. The only apps it recognizes is Google Music and Podcast. Odd thing is the Podcast isn't even installed, though it was at one time.

Have your apps been installed from the play store? if not, enable the developer settings and check unknown sources
