    Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has the same issue with me. I held a one plus 7 pro phone and recently upgraded to OS 11. Does anyone uses wireless Android Auto in their car with OS11? I thought OS 11 allows Android Auto to be use wirelessly. Yet i m still have to plug my usb port, turn on datacand bluetooth to activate Android Auto.

I was told by my Subaru dealer when I bought my new car last week, that my phone needs to be plugged in fire AA to work. I have certainly verified that.

Mine 7 pro update to Android 11. When I connect to my car, my car said my phone doesn't support the android auto.
Can even launch Android Auto app
So I uninstall the Android Auto and reinstall it, even the factory my car data. Still doesn't work.

I called the support for OP. The way they suggest doesn't work. I just hope more and more user will notice this problem. Then nexr update of system probably will fix this issue

I'm having exactly the same issue, it was working all perfect before this new update on the phone. Every time I would get into the car, my phone's Bluetooth and Data will turn on automatically and It will say on the display: "Android Auto detected, please connect via USB port", and I would do and it will work flawlessly , as far as from Monday when I did the update, all of this totally stopped, now I have to connect and disconnect like 10 times before it really actually works if it does.

I m glad I m not the only one. I was so excited to get Os 11 hoping to use Android Auto wirelessly without bringing the USB port with me when I drive but every time it asked me to connect via USB port

I'm having issues with AA while connecting my 7pro to my Mazda3 2021. The Mazda3 has a dial instead of touch screen and the selection icon goes away after a couple of minutes. I cannot select anything while using google maps. Anybody aware of any solution? Facing this since the latest oxygen OS update.

After my OnePlus 7T upgrade to Android 11, my Android Auto app won't work with my 2017 Chevy Volt. I can get it to work by switching my primary USB method to File Transfer, but then the phone goes back to the No Data Transfer option. On my home screen AA shows a message that says your phone is plugged in and the USB is charging. I can click the USB options link in the message and get it to work again, but as soon as I unplug the phone, all options are gone, and I have to stop the car and go through this whole process to get it working again.

I updated 7t to Android 11 and now I have 2 GM vehicles that are very difficult to connect. I have to fool with the USB developer options and unplug and replug in USB to get it to work. I wish there was a rollback feature.

I have upgraded to OS 11 (OnePlus 7 pro) and Android Auto no longer works (Volvo S90). It worked perfectly before the upgrade. Can I revert?

Checked cable and used my partner's phone with the cables - all worked fine, so it must be due to the upgrade.

Any plans to fix this quickly, thanks?

After Android 11 update... Android auto attempts to connect, then fails... Error code 8. Please fix, it isn't the car, it isn't the USB. It's the One Plus 11 update.
    C'mon folks, fix it.
    Thanks!

Prior to update could you use it wirelessly? I dont like using the cable. Another problem their cables sold out and i want to buy one plus cable specifically but they never stock them.
