Yes it does, and now you can use it with any car. The most recent version of Android Auto lets you run it without the integration.

Any recent thoughts on the OP3 with the latest version of Android Auto? I use AA almost exclusively in my '16 Civic so before I jump on the 3T train, I want to make sure my AA won't affected. Currently use a G4 with no issues except occasional lagginess.

Have you given all the necessary permissions to the app?

Android auto , works fine but some people find it doesn't play nice with their car, works fine for me with Nissan nv 200 (2015) and Nissan qashqai (2012) but integration with these cars is minimal .

Android auto is wireless if your car accepts wifi connections. Cable should be any standard usb cable, for data transfers (not the cheap only power ones) and every android with LollyPop or above should have android auto by default.

How it performs... No idea. You can usr android auto on your phone tho.

The problem is strange. At the first, I can do a call by vocal command but not by car screen...

I do a reset of my car mediacenter and now it seems ok. . But if i try to use android auto without car connection, i'm always unable to do a call with the android auto screen on my phone....

Your car uses shitty Mirrorlink which is a dead technology and the OP3 doesn't support Mirrorlink at all just like the vast majority of Android phones. My car is the same, just Mirrorlink support for Android. It worked with my previous phone, the Xperia Z3, which had Mirrorlink support built in. Besides, with Mirrorlink you can only use certified app, there are about a grand total of 15 or so and they are all garbage. There are some phones with cracked versions of Mirrorlink that are able to mirror the screen completely and mirror any app as well, such as the Galaxy S4 running JellyBean.

If you want to use Android Auto you need a car which supports it and right now only a few high end and very new cars do (on the other hand, every android phone running the latest versions of Android OS support it since it's a regular app with no weird proprietary standards like Mirrorlink). Mine is 2 years old but Android Auto did not exist back then. Also your car manufacturer needs to support Android Auto. I know Toyota doesn't, which sucks so much I nearly got buyer's remorse for my car.

If you need more info just ask, I'm kind of an expert on this stuff, I researched it a lot but eventually concluded that Mirrorlink is dogshit and completely worthless unless you have a Galaxy S4 or another phone compatible with the cracked Samsung implementation of Mirrorlink which can mirror any app.

Have been desperately trying to connect Oneplus 3T to Android Auto on Pioneer F80BT for the past 2 days without any success. Surprisingly, on different occasions the phone exhibits different behavior of error but never successfully connects. The best I've had was only one instance of connection for ~5 minutes or so. Have tried multiple cables including the dash cable, update to Nougat and several reboots. Only result - failure.

My car has no problem. Nexus 6 still works flawlessly.

Don't know what to do. Probably I'll have to return this otherwise OK phone.
