    This time around, Google released the source code earlier than usual, and before the usual time-frame of coming up with a name.
    I think the only 2 candidates so far are Lollipop and Lemon Meringue Pie. I'm pretty sure it's gonna be Lemon Meringue Pie though, because the text "LMP" has been found around the source code.

    Lollipop is the current odds-on favorite, but I have also heard lemon meringue pie and even Lion (rumoured a few weeks ago because it was listed on an FCC data sheet supposedly). I am guessing they will continue along the same sweet food vein and it will be lollipop. Google just celebrated there anniversary of android with a cake covered with candies and lollipops. But who would have guessed KitKat. Odds on favorite then was key lime pie.
