just one question...may be its a big disappointment as well..

    why oneplus why ?
please give us the stock UI, like you gave us in Nougat...

fine that you still had Nougat UI in Oreo....but isn't it worst to still not change UI in P ?
Google has done fabulous job with Android P UI but why you guys are hell bent on destroying the taste of Android P.... why waste all the developer resources in just theming the stock UI to old Nougat way....

OP6 is a great device..and with Android P we wish it would be butter smooth....so please bring the Stock UI with Oxygen OS useful features...

+ give us an option to use something useful like Google feed instead of Shelf.... its a waste of prime space on Home screen...

    Just one question for you.

You want the pixel experience (I assume by you saying stock you don't mean "stock OnePlus" or "stock AOSP") why not but the pixel?

the DP3 UI is really similar to the stock one I got the android P booted on my op5 and while comparing it. they are really similar but there is a difference in the icons and some changes and recents is heavily inspired from Google's own implementation so if you hate the UI you should blame Google

no I don't want Pixel experience...
if you look at Original Oxygen OS in OP3 with very close to Stock Nougat....it was amazing...

and Its not a rant....I owned OP3 for almost 2 years and was a great device..but why we should not get the new Android P UI....

argument like why don't buy Pixel don't make sense....

the UI, both in Android P beta and OOS stable is very close to the Pixel (OOS stable is stock, as OnePlus since this is a OnePlus phone). there are differences, but look at Samsung or LG and you'll see OnePlus is very close to stock pixel. Even looking at a Motorola it's pretty close, both OnePlus and Motorola tweak some things but keeps pretty close to the Pixel experience (as much as Google will let them anyway).

What specifically do you want in the Android P beta UI? From what I see most is either straight from our inspired by Google.

Normal update from beta2 to beta3
    Did not work for me

After the update process it send me to the recovery
    And keep rebooting

    Wipeing cashe and system
Sent me back to wiped beta2

Only solution was to wipe everything
    Then i got to beta3

I have both op and pixels navbar options

okay. can anyone check if safetynet passes and can we use payment apps like Tez or BHIM ? If not then did flashing magisk fix it?

    I can't install the DP3, I did this;
1.Tried on OOS 5.1.9 and I get "system update failed",wiping and installing in vain
    2.Downgraded to 5.1.8 still couldn't install DP3 or DP2
    3.Flashed TWRP on 5.1.8 and still I couldn't glash the DP2 or DP3 with TWRP(kdownloderoperation execute error)
4.Got bricked and unbricked using Qualcomm download tool and OOS 5.1.5
    5.Tried installing DP3 & DP2 on 5.1.5 in vain
6.Updated to 5.1.8 via OTA and still couldn't install either of the DPs
And now I'm upgrading to OOS 5.1.9 until someone figures out what's wrong.
Disclaimer: All OOS zips flash without any error.

Since Android Pistachio is being released late August, early September... Just a little over a month from now. Wouldn't be wise just to wait that short period of time for the stable full version of Android Pistachio?

nope, this dev preview doesn't have safety net profile certification.
so magisk or not it won't pass safety net.
