Android P gesture navigation or OnePlus Gesture navigation

I think with Android p, OnePlus will retain their gestures navigation with some extra tweaks instead of android p navigation gestures and i personally feel that OnePlus's navigation gestures are cool and way more convenient than android pie's navigation gestures.

Two Swipes to go to the app locker( Android P ) !! Seriously??? No thanks

    your opinion ??

I agree, I think OP6 gestures are way better. I could never go back to the old way and by the way Android P gestures look. it looks more confusing than anything else...

My opinion is that we should have both and be able to choose.

I also think I'm going to wait until the OB1 is out to see what is on the table, test it, and after that have an opinion.

Before that, it's all speculation - yes, even with the Beta released for HydrogenOS.

but the long press for Google Assistant is unavailable in OP gestures. Unless there's workaround for that. because sometimes it can be awkward to suddenly utter "OK Google" in public.

It will be better if we can have both. Android, and OxygenOS particularly, are very good at giving consumers choices anyway.

Let's wait and see what OnePlus will do when the Open Beta 1 is released. That should give us a more clear idea of Android Pie on the OnePlus 6.

Love the 1+ gestures. It's easier to use than the stock gestures on p.

Well it should include both the stock pie and OnePlus own gesture.
Hydrogen has this and will definitely carry over to oxygen.

    Awesome, hope that's the case.

I really like "OnePlus gestures", but I'm really curious to try the Pie ones.

OP gestures for me. Alleviates burn in from the nav icons and it's better laid out than Pie gestures, which waste space with icons and aren't as intuitive.

I don't get the navigation pill in pie... It takes up just as much space as the old nav bar! The BIG point in gesture navigation is the added screen space so what's the point? Oneplus does need to add more features tho, switching between most recent app and Google Assistant is a must!
