It's just a phone, try to be cool - your negative emotions do nothing.

    Also the 'company'...

1 probably will never read this
2 probably will not care if they did

OnePlus just announced that the Pie update is being distributed by the same server that hosts this thread. As a result of the traffic on this thread — most of which is questions about the expected release of the update — the update is unable to be pushed out. The math works out to each question of when the update will come causing the update to be delayed by another day.

    Keep asking when it's coming...

See? OOS doesn't have an EAS compatible PowerHAL. I'm using Havoc with the same kernel and the developer hasn't mentioned if the EAS PowerHAL has been implemented. EX Kernel manager doesn't see it, so I'm betting its not there.

Of course, the PowerHAL likely doesn't make much difference when playing games, but other aspects of the system may have been tweaked to make up for the lack of a PowerHAL. We really won't get a good test without that mod.

I'm thinking I could test Havoc EAs vs stock OOS vs an older Nougat with a full EAS implementation and compare the results. It will have to wait until after I move and after playing with my new Renegade though

Nice to have you back. You should stick in here for some time. Join Wormhole...

Blah blah... Just get him to WoHo

I don't think OOS supports EAS, which means you're pretty much having it constrained and not seeing benefits of EAS. Hope they support EAS

I don't disagree with you, but it's a combination of several things together , I used the MCD EAS , and he added stunes which made a difference in performance...
And yes aI agree with the zram, there was a conversation on MCD thread on xda about that.
But honestly recently the stock kernel is performing fairly well with pubg

No one here can tell you, and OnePlus doesn't publish ETAs, so there's no real use in asking.
