This thread was started on "Jul 30, 2018", so I hope the update will come on "Jul 30, 2019".

At that point ths thread "Android P is coming to the OnePlus 3 and 3T" will be one of best thread ever made by OnePlus :D

Ah found it, thanks. Good to see some positive development behind the scenes. I hope we get at least an open Pie beta before the end of this month.

I know, but everyone does after 1/2 years of having a phone, I bought the 3t when it came out and it's very outdated and OnePlus is getting expensive

The Pie update is hardly going to being a 2016 device up to date, performance and battery wise there will be hardly any improvements. Buying a device with a then 6+ months old SoC as clearly the wrong thing to do if you wanted the most up to date device for 2+ years.

Thanks for this, but if somebody connected to OP can post this on XDA why couldn't they also post it on here as well. I sense most posters on this thread would be thankful to hear that we're going to get bi-weekly updates on the OB (and monthly on the stable) going forward, assuming that turns out to actually be the case

That's if you got an OP6(T) I guess as this is what this message was about initially. (hope people won't get crazy reading it)

It mentions 30-60 days for stable. That's bimonthly.

No, the OP clearly stated as far as the OP3's are concerned:

"Pie build for 3/3T is all cooked and certified and ready to be delivered really shortly now so once that gets out of the way the focus will be more getting the builds out every 10-14 days on betas & 30-60 days on the stable path."

I'm a bit taken aback that the OP - Funk Wizard - is also a mod on here!

700 plus pages about this subject?! Says enough right oneplus should really be shameful of itself. This non communicating about release date etc is realy a bit stupid and I don't except that from a big company like this. I was a happy oneplus 3t user but I start to seriously think about changing brand, getting ridiculous this waiting for an update can't be that hard.

Previously OnePlus have recieved massive amounts of grief, c.f Nougat update for OP3(T), when they posted an ETA, and users started multiple threads because they hadn't fulfilled the ETA even though it hadn't passed! and ultimately they did fulfill it, in fact they where still getting grief for only just fulfilling the deadline. So either way they'll get flack over it.

Indeed not sure what you are doing wrong? Can I help... 1. Wait 2. Recieve update when it's ready, which stage is causing you the issue?

As this was posted in a thread for OP6(T), this refers to the updates for those devices. Pie for OP3(T) is merely given as an excuse for not getting timely updates to OP6(T) and subsequently the biweekly Open Beta updates and the stable 30-60 days updates for OP6(T).

Nope the closed beta doesn't pass CTS. So, technically, they didn't lie.
