No, an increase in heat in the aftermath of an update is absolutely normal, give it a few days to optimise and see how it goes.

when phones are in line for getting Android q, we r still talking of getting pie. OnePlus talks big delivers little. it's almost a year since pie was promised. it's no longer a falgship killer but killer flagship

Be happy that the 3/3T is getting a 3rd major OS release. Many phones, other than Google devices, are lucky to get two.

The android P ain't coming. The developer team for 3/3T are lazy and we all are sick of it. I am switching to Iphone. you better deal with your customers right, or see them using another device! adios!

Sorry? Android P is already here, in beta, so you are clearly confused.

Of course it does the existence of the beta is confirmation of development, do you want an unstable bug filled release, like that for the OP5(T)?

no but I'll prefer a Company who cares about their customers and deliver the thing when they promised.

Doesn't really matter anymore, especially considering the fact that version updates don't really do much anymore.

Frankly beyond different aesthetics Pie isn't that useful or particularly exciting. From here on out I honestly could care less about android version updates, Google is just trying at this point to differentiate updates without actually changing much.

i agree with your words, but actually OP DEVELOPERS ARE ENGAGED IN OP 7 RELEASE AND LAUNCH WITCH IS DONE TODAY, SO MAY BE NOW THEY ARE FOCUS ON OP 3/ T OS P UPDATE...

It's what is under hood you can't see which matters, my 3 year old OP3 is now running better than ever on the latest beta. Think I'd now easily get another 6+ months life out of my phone before age gets the better of it but I'm tempted by a OP7 Pro.

There isn't much under the hood though, it's just an aesthic refresh.

There are a few miniscule differences from P to Q but that's it. From Oreo to Pie it was a bit bigger since it added missing features from Lg and Samsung, but in general it version updates won't matter much anymore.

I actually preffered oreo over the Pie update since I liked the layout better when I owned the 3t.
