Earlier this week, our team was at Google I/O. We demoed our 5G device, which may look very familiar to those of you who followed us at MWC. Can you spot it in the display?

Some of you maybe wondering – why was OnePlus at Google I/O? Well, we were invited. As a close collaborator with Google and one of the leading smartphone makers in bringing 5G capable devices, it only made sense.

Android Q Beta will launch on the OnePlus 6T and will soon to launch OnePlus 7 series smartphones. Why are we excited for Android Q Beta? This Beta offers on an unparalleled level, speed, enhanced privacy, smarter settings and easier Wi-Fi sharing. All of these come together to bring us closer to the burdenless experience we strive to giveto our users.

This build can be understood as a base line version. It is targeted at early adopters and developers, offering them the chance to build apps for the platform and share early feedback. Since the launch of the OnePlus One back in 2014, developers in the OnePlus community have been instrumental to helping the company’s Oxygen OS evolve. We believe Android Q will be the next big step. We were one of the fastest smartphone manufacturers to adopt Android Pie and integrate it with OxygenOS. We’re grateful to our Community and Beta testers for being willing to help build and make this possible. Our commitment and daily work is to keep our users at the forefront of useful advances, so you can have the best device experience possible. As a OnePlus user, you can know with confidence that you own some of the most developer-friendly phones in the world. And this is just what we’ve accomplished so far together. Thank you for your continued support and dedication to helping us better technology. We’re excited to leap into the future of Android with you!

Google has focused on Privacy this time... Now it's more easy to give permission to apps abd how they can usethese permissionst... You can set whether it can use that permission in background or not and some improvements in privacy...

Talking about File Manager, it's there only in Beta and for India only and most people don't like this Cleanup feature so you can't say it'll come to Stable...
