Google are not scheduled to do a Final Release of Android Q until late Q3, (September). OnePlus will then need to adapt that firmware and add their features before Alpha testing and Open Beta testing it and the finally releasing the stock, stable, OxygenOS Android Q OTA update.

Firstly, this is not an update but merely an early developers preview of Android Q in its very rough form with many of the features and apps removed or not working and is not intended for daily use. As per post #1...

"As the name suggests, this build of Android Q is best suited for developers and early adopters. As it is still in an early stage of development. That said, we do not recommend flashing this ROM if you have little to no experience in software development or flashing custom ROMs. Proceed at your own RISK!"

Before attempting to install this Developers preview, check out the stickied post at the end of post #1 as you will need to follow that to get back to the stock, stable, Android Pie firmware.

I downloaded the rom with the intention of flashing it right away. After reading through this thread I think I will wait a bit longer. I love trying out new software and being an early adopter. However it looks like it's not fit for a daily driver just yet.

I installed this when it first came on the forums, within a day I reverted back to OnePlus pie beta.

has anyone actually stayed the course with Q installed and actually received any OTA updates that have made an impact for Q to be at least somewhat usable, or are there not any active OTA updates?

More specifically has mobile network and mobile data worked simultaneously together yet?

This is a Developer Preview and as such is not on any regular update schedule. The next release from Google for Android Q is in June sometime and OnePlus may or may not adapt and release it as another rough Developer preview. Alternatively, they may choose to wait for the Final Release from Google in late Q3.
