It's in the original post. Just go to the top and download it.
Also, face recognition is not included, if there is anyone who finds this necessary. Just in case someone reads the thread before the installation of the OS.
Still, I have another question for those who have installed it: does your fingerprint unlock works? For me, it takes the screen to sleep.
Any ideas guys?
If you are attempting to install Android Q Developer Preview 2, it might be an idea to post in that thread...
OnePlus 6t here, the fingerprint works well on the lockscreen, however it does not work within applications (Dashlane, Cryptomator, Banking apps, etc.)
I had this issue because I had android Pie version 9.0.14. What I did to install the beta was installing the rollback android P package provided in this post and then flashing the android Q package.
You are replying to me... I don't have an issue.
if you dont know the basics ,please don't try It may leave you without any option to get it full functional.
WiFi stability and network stability is prime things that are not good enough .
btw to install it you need to get to previous version probably released in April May .
that will work as they worked for me .
the best thing you can do is to downgrade using the zip provided and then install dp2
can anyone tell me how to go back to STABLE os from BETA os in op6t? thanks.
in this thread it says to normally flash the stable os zip from system>local upgrade and reboot. Will that work? if yes, we can do using twrp recovery by full wiping the existing beta rom and flashing the stable os?
works very well with local upgrade. but with twrp i don't know.
DP to MP rollback guide - via Local OTA update
Note: This upgrade method will erase all the contents of the phone, please be sure to backup first.
1. Download the latest ROM upgrade zip package from the specified server.
2. Copy the Rollback package to the phone storage.
3. Go to Settings -> System -> System Updates -> Click top right icon -> Local upgrade -> Click on the corresponding installation package -> upgrade -> System upgrade completed to 100%.
4. After the upgrade is complete, click Restart.
5. Phone will boot into recovery mode to format user data, it will reboot again after formatting.
6. Update successful.....................................................................
does this above method works when i try to go to stable version from beta version for op6T?
okay. and since it's downgrade, then the stable os zip is different from normal stable os zip, right?
