LOL. Reading is hard. Bye bye pics. The OP stated that you would lose everything on the phone and to back up everything. Not their problem.

There are many bugs in the beta version.
    1) The Adaptive brightness doesn't work
    2) Fingerprint Authentication doesn't work
    3) The User Interface of Notifications is not properly Aligned
    4) As said portrait mode is not working
    5) The UI of settings menu is also not aligned properly
so far these are the bugs I found.

for nav bar I've paid and use vivid. N G who is fully customizable. like op will never let you customize.

for people saying it's not good enough to be released. it's precised.

personally I've really appreciate to being able to test it today already. i prefer to find solutions and see evolutions.

for themes. I've only see google photo auto adapting his theme for the moment.
    ho and Netflix doesn't work.

Hands up those that didn't follow the instructions in @Manu J. post #1, about backing up everything before flashing...

Unless you made a backup or synced your stuff, it is gone I am afraid. :(

those who are unable to download the rollback build via the given link at the beginning of the post.

please look at the extreme top right corner after clicking the link "open in browser or open with browser"

you'll be able to download the rollback or developer preview build.

I would recommend people not to try this build because of the following reasons:

    1. it's a developer preview, not a beta build
    2. fingerprint scanner,
    3. face unlocking,
    4. camera portrait mode
    5. Ambient display
    6. Night mode (too much yellow)
    7. signal strength
    8. wifi strength
    9. encryption not enabled.
    10. DO NOT CHARGE YOUR PHONE AFTER POWER OFF THE DEVICE.
    11. DO NOT ENABLE PIN OR PASSWORD OPTION WHILE SETTING UP YOUR PHONE.
    12. to rollback to the stable build please remove the .jar extension from the downloaded package.
    13. if you are using dual sim then you'll be irritated because of setup notifications

    few are above-known issues.
happy flashing and I've rolled back to the previous stable build of Android after facing major issues with the developer preview.

just enable the USB debugging and go back to the root folder.

    1. remove the .jar from the downloaded file, keep it until filename.zip
    2. now go to a system update
    3. click on local storage
    4. now you should be able to see the file.

install updates and you're good to go.

    thanks!!
