Look at a youtube video where English is written and use that as a guide to chose the correct settings.

So after installing the Android Q beta version, the phone was full of bug.
Now the real-life crisis problem is that after the restart of the phone, it is asking for device unlock pin.
I am providing the correct pin several times but the device is saying incorrect pin.
That is not the only crisis. Now I am left with only 6 attempts else my phone will be wiped.
Can someone help me come out of this life-crisis problem?

    Regards,
    Prafulla Diwesh

I am sure since you have the developers preview installed you would have a backup.

Sorry to tell you but the encryption isn't working, and you've already lost all your data.

This is a developer build, and I'm guessing you're not a DEV so you probably should have stayed on the stable build.

Did you follow all the steps, exactly, in the Dummies Guide roll-back video in post #7 of this thread?

You have to force it into recovery and hard reset everything.

So... no extra, ".", period/full stop, after the word .zip at the end of the file name and it is not in a folder and has been moved to the Internal Storage/Root directory of the phone?

I just love reading all those "rom full of bugs, when fix oneplus???" -comments. I think some people will never understand what a DEVELOPER preview actually is.

As of now I'm pretty suprised how "well" this build runs in comparison to the first Pie DP a year ago. I'm definitly going to try to run DP2 as daily driver as soon as it will be released

I've searched couldn't find any comments regarding text/mms messages. I flashed this developers preview three times coming back and forth from Android 9. The one thing I could not get to work was the stock messaging app. It would not send text or mms. I could make and receive phone calls but not messages. Is anyone else with this issue? I'm back to beta 17, just wondering about the text messages with Android q.
