I wouldn't download this buggy piece of crap. Just wait probably 3-10 days and download the next version. Why would you want a bug ridden turd of an update when you can just wait a little longer and, likely, have a much more stable update? Be patient. It's not going to hurt you to wait. I promise you'll survive.

As the name suggests, this build of Android Q is best suited for developers and early adopters. As it is still in an early stageof development. That said, we do not recommend flashing this ROM if you have little to no experience in software development or flashing custom ROMs. Proceed at your own RISK!

My estimation guess is sometime between this Friday and next. DP3 for Android P came out on July 18 last year. I imagine this one could be a similar time.

Based on the timeframe between first and second DP it "should" be released by the end of this week. But who knows ‍♂️

That's why I was guessing sometime between this Friday and next. Using a 1 month schedule it would be this Friday. Using last year's rollout dates it would be next. So like I said, likely sometime between this Friday and next. The only thing I'm unsure of is what version this is based off of. Will it be DP4 or DP5? I'm guessing probably DP4 and that would make me think this Friday. But if they need an extra week to not rollout another turd then they can have it. The 3rd release of P last year was pretty darn stable. Google pay and banking apps didn't work but otherwise it was fine.

Yes, I'm agreeing with you. But I'm hoping for this week. And my bet is on that it's based off DP4 sadly. But I'll keep my fingers crossed

It looks like according to Google it is DP5 that we should be getting. in the air Android developer posting they said that the partner devices should also be updating to DP5 in the coming weeks. here's hoping that we do have for the most recent release..

But DP 2 isn't based off Beta 4 is it?

Trying to flash DP2 to my OP6T and I keep getting the error BUILD VERSION AND HW VERSION IS NOT MATCH!

T-Mobile variant flashed with MSMDownloadTool to convert into global version. DP1 worked just fine. Is this a known bug with DP2?

Pretty sure T-Mo variants aren't supported, despite being flashed over to global OOS.

Known issue for T-Mobile (USA) carrier minority variants with this Android Q beta (Developer Preview) 2.

See post #302 of this thread for a workaround.

Thanks. I’ll just wait for DP3 to release at some point in the near future, since looking through things briefly it is indeed a bug for carrier devices
