Thank you for your reply. Could you please help in letting me know the exact build on which I have to downgrade?

it's reported as a flaw in Android 10 and it wasn't in the beta builds on the pixel devices. It was only on the stable release that the sensors became disabled. so if OnePlus is now working with the stable release that could very well mean the issue will carry over to OnePlus devices

But isn't the sensor problem a vendor issue?
    Correct me if I'm wrong

I honestly could not give you an answer to that. Nobody really knows at this moment not even Google has released a statement. the only thing we know for sure is the sensors are disabled and the developers on XDA can not fix the problem. I would assume, but I may be the one in the wrong, if it were a vendor code issue developers could easily fix that?

I am currently trying to gather some information from the essential phone users and Xiaomi users to verify if this is in fact a system wide issue or just a pixel issue.

For the 6t, it requires resizing partitions which seems like a complete drag as the new android 10 update is supposed to come out later this month.

should we be switching to beta from stable or there would be stable release 17 as well to prepare for the 10.

I'm pretty sure there'll be a new beta when 10 becomes available on the 6 series.

No one knows, however Preview 3 wasn't too bad, I imagine when the open beta comes out later this month, it will probably be good enough to use daily with very little issues.
