If I'm not mistaken, every OOS Q DP is based on the most recent Google Q DP at the time, which has been behind by 2 the whole time. Like wasn't DP1 from OnePlus analogous to DP3 from Google? Also, I can tell you for a fact OnePlus will give us open betas of Q based on the final release, not based on DPs

You are correct. The confusion is sometimes tiresome...

I honestly wish (and this means you, random person who scrolls past this in a day or two) that the folks in here who don't know what they're talking about would just shut up and wait for the updates that will inevitably come like a good little normie. At least you understand my frustration with them.

I wonder if Preview 2 had any issues with using sim/provider AT&T. Preview 3 works great if you remove sim or airplane mode.

Hi. I can't go through all the posts.

I just want to ask you about the navigation gestures. I am worried because I read that OnePlus and other manufacturers, made a deal with Google to only use the new Q's navigation gestures.

I am worried if we are going to lose our back gesture. Because I hate Q's back gesture. I always open my drawers that way.

I never use the hamburger icon. It's too far up for me.

I wonder if OnePlus will give us that choice.

    Do you know the answer?

What about the back gesture? Can we keep our OxygenOS's back gesture? Or we have to use the new terrible back gesture of Q?

you worry too much, there is peek feature and even if you cannot get used to it, Chris Banes working actively with Google has proposed to improve the navigation gesture situation. let's hope for the best. You can read his tweet here :

Yes, it should just push some code out that's untested or has an unresolved issue in it!

android q is not released. in its current state of you need support to even install it it's not ready for you to use. when it is you will be able to update via OTA without data loss.

for now, stay on stable and be happy - you're not missing anything really

    hi all!

on android q beta 3 for oneplus 6 they have locked 'fastboot boot' command
any way we can talk to OOS team and allow the command in the bootloader

i think same stuff happened for oneplus 7 also and they released new update with updated BL which allow fastboot boot command
