it has been said multiple times, your version of open beta is newer than the DP. so you cannot upgrade as it sees it as a downgrade actually

If you are intending to move to the developer preview go to the first post in this thread and read it all. If you understand all of it then ask yourself the following questions.

"Is my phone working well now"

"Do I need it to be working well tomorrow"

"Am I fooling myself into believing I really understand the instructions in the first post"

If the answer to any of these questions is yes please don't try to move the DP version.
If all the answers are NO please go back over posts in this thread and search for the answer to your problem.

    Copia il pacchetto nella memoria interna;
Vai su aggiornamento locale tocca sul pacchetto zip e partirà l'aggiornamento

I think you are missing the point. Yes it was about a month ago, but complaints is that oneplus 7 and 7pro get their upgrade for Q is at much speedier rate then less than 10 months old oneplus 6t.

I am ok about whenever we get it, we will get it.

I am using AT&T in the state, and Last Q update is causing UI crashes if you leave SIM in it. how can they miss that in their Q update? they couldn't find any beta tester with AT&T or Verizon SIM...

just frustrating, but it is still much better than other company's who doesn't provide updates as oneplus.

I didn't miss the point of the poster I quoted. It was straightforward, OnePlus have forgotten the 6 and 6T.
That was the point that I answered.

Your point is rather more complicated.
You seem to expect OnePlus to not service their flagship models faster than older models. Why would they do that.
    Also
You seem to expect a DP version to be treated like a beta version. It doesn't work like that.
Users should report bugs and then move on and continue previewing.

I don't think that anyone expects the updates to be faster but, to be fair, they were in the same update path and now aren't. The 6T/6 is listed as Android Q testing device. You don't stop a test midway through. You finish it. They stopped the testing and will just push out some beta at some point. That's silly and frustrating. When you see 6/6T listed as participating in the Android Q testing you, rightfully, should expect monthly updates with each new version of Q with improvements from last version. This is one reason that this is the last OnePlus device I will ever buy. Pixel all the way from here on out. Most of what I liked about OnePlus is getting baked intro stock Android anyway. OnePlus is still a decent company but I honestly started losing a little faith when they asked users to recommend features/a new UI. That said to me, "Were out of ideas. Let's have unpaid users come up with them".
