It is named zip. I assume the software is not compatible with the 5g version so it won't install

I think any forum will have questions answered multiple times because asking will always be quicker than searching.

My comment about notifications was only related to the fact that the majority of posts now are what I call non productive. No fixes for issues, no new finding, just asking the same questions over and over.

I do agree on that... Everyone just needs to start helping out everyone out instead of repeating the same things and starting Rumors of new versions and so on.

You're the first 5G owner that has actually downloaded and posted the results. Most have just asked, "Is it compatible with 5G?" never to be seen again. If you're sure you downloaded the DP4 installer and not the reverting to Pie installer (i.e. there's no wipe in the file name), then there must be a system check done by the software upgrade software that prevents installing a wrong version for your device. A simple check would be for me to download the OP7 revert software and see if my Pro sees it. I'll report back.

It's completely confirmed. My Pro doesn't see OP7 revert file, so you're correct; this version isn't compatible with the 5G model.

No it's not found to show to flash due to the 5g chip modem

C'mon man. Be realistic. The Software Upgrade software isn't that sophisticated. It probably looks a file names and sees that it's incompatible with your current device and doesn't show it. No modem chip differences are involved in Pro vs non-Pro variants which is what I just tested.
