Hope you have read the OP.

All apps need not be optimised for Android 10 as of now.

india today...hahaha.. they didn't even share the link to contextual conversation in the Reddit...
a single article and nothing on Google...
yeah i would believe them 100% no doubt...lol.

also releasing dp5 a day before stable release is so much more fun... OnePlus must be thinking just this. isn't it?
    pfff..

My fingerprint scanner is not working after about 12 hours after installation. It's scanning but it says the fingerprint is not recognised. I tried deleting a fingerprint and adding it again but It struggled to scan every time. It's always saying Partial Fingerprint is detected please cover it completely. It scans one time in 10 tries.
And also After enabling Override force-dark option the Amoled display thing goes completely white instead of black.
    Can anyone help me?

I've been so "busy" replying in here that I can hardly believe that I've forgotten to do this until now. I pulled the DP5 build.prop and compared it to the DP4 build.prop to see what's changed:

-The top stuff is normal and just edits to new version
-There's a new setting for Netflix audio
-Added a setting for WiFi Direct? (WFD)...I don't see in settings
-They then comment out a LOT of audio buffering settings. Perhaps this is why people are saying audio works better or just plain works with Bluetooth in DP5
-The last setting is some sort of Qualcomm va(lidation?) enabler

Just a rumour, mate.. chill
If it happens, it's good, isn't it? From dp5 to stable, it's just a matter of renaming for OnePlus. And after that frequent updates to stabilise it.. common affair with OnePlus. I remember that's how they released android nougat on a new year eve in OnePlus 3. One of the first non pixel devices to get latest android.
Can't predict the business tactics of OnePlus. Early android 10 release means, OnePlus will stay top on all articles and reviews worldwide for the first non pixel device to release android 10. Also frequent updates following that can add to their credit of being the most customer friendly OEM which 'hears' their customers. Afterall, it's all business!
Still I don't believe completely in the rumour though ;)

It's posted for S5, but information applies to all Android phones:

UGH!!! They will NOT skip Open Beta phase....

if its true, its good news but its too good to be true.thus, my thoughts.

i mean it simply doesn't make sense to release a dp and then release a stable build(if 3rd sept is an actual release date).

i would appreciate to see OnePlus pulling this stunt if they do it.
but i don't think they would push stable without open betas.
    let's see what happens...
