    Hey

Once when I connected to fast WIFI network it automatically completed the setup and after that I reboot my phone and then it was gone permanently.

    Thanks

Long press on the notification you will be redirected to the "android setup" setting. Now disable the app. then restart your phone, connect to wifi and complete the setup.
    For me it worked .

I just reset my phone and used WiFi connection for setting up phone instead of mobile data. It worked for me

I ended up here because I found myself with the same issue. My fix was pretty simple. I went into settings and saw the announcement and noticed the little 'X' on the upper right corner and clicked it, rebooted and that was that. gone..!:)

well.. I have permanent solution to get rid of this.

At first you all should understand the reason behind this notification so the reason is that when you initially setup your OnePlus device for the very first time after buying, it should be connected to WiFi till the entire setup completes.
if in any way the setup is incomplete or WiFi connectivity is lost in between you will definately get the notification.

So to permanently get rid of this notification take full backup of your data and reset the device to factory settings and make sure to connect to WiFi while initial setup of your device.

Once you are finish you will never get this notification ever again.

trust me I have just tried recently and works just fine. cheers!
