WhaTheF , via OnePlus 8 Pro , Oct 23, 2020 : Except the inability to update OP Gallery app, Microsoft office app and installing some games, I have also now noticed that I cannot do zoom-to-fill in the youtube app. When I pinch out with my fingers to zoom, I see the effect and there is the text "zoom to fill" but the video stays the same! Clearing cach & data didn't help. Any one else expirencing this?
Brian Fernandez , via OnePlus Community App , Oct 24, 2020 : I'm also experiencing these issues it just started happening about 3 days ago. I'm not quite sure if it's youtube itself or it's one plus but the text appears saying it's on full screen mode. It's restarted my phone thinking it's the fact It just started happening but idk it's really annoying. I have a one olust 7t pro mclaren so 12gs of ram and 256gs of memory so I'm quite not sure why this is going on now.

I1603556967440 , Oct 24, 2020 : I had this same issue. I discovered that a recent Youtube update was the problem for me. I force-stopped Youtube, clicked on Uninstall All Updates, and unchecked Auto Update on the YouTube app in the Play Store. I can now zoom videos again. Of course the Comments section is again at the bottom, and you have to click on the X at the bottom right of the video to clear the overlay of video options, but otherwise it's great. But I still have Android 10, not 11. Hope this helps someone.
WhaTheF , via OnePlus 8 Pro , Oct 24, 2020 : Ended up doing a factory reset and the you tube problem, as well as inability to update apps was resolved.
I1603556967440 , via OnePlus 7 Pro T-Mobile , Oct 24, 2020 : You are right. I just now updated YouTube back to the latest version and the zoom still works fine. Did not need to do a factory reset, but wouldn't have been a big deal for me anyway since I just got the phone 3 days ago lol.
ritesh0905 , via OnePlus 8 Pro , Oct 24, 2020 : I am also facing similar issue. Any fix please let me know
flazfinest665 , via OnePlus 8 Pro , Oct 24, 2020 : Me too, it's annoying. I've reported the bug to OnePlus, hopefully there will be a fix to this soon 😕
WhaTheF , via OnePlus 8 Pro , Oct 26, 2020 : Update - after the factory reset the zomm to fill worked for a day and now it's back to not working!
flazfinest665 , via OnePlus 8 Pro , Oct 27, 2020 : I found out that the bug is linked to YouTube, not OnePlus. I was reading other comments on Google play store and the latest update from YouTube has the same issue with zoom to fill. So what I did is go to your Google play store, click on my games and apps, go to YouTube and click uninstall (don't worry you can't actually remove YouTube from your phone, it just removes the latest update and goes back to the previous version). Once you do that, click open and zoom to fill should work like normal. Hope this helps.
Nazar_Al_Saedi , Oct 28, 2020 : Same here didn't work after the update.. but its work fine now I just removed youtube update. waiting for fix before i update youtube again.
