I can be on my phone for 4/5h on wifi all ok..then suddenly it goes to limited mode while all other devices are fine. Restart, Turn on off wifi, forget wifi tried it all nothing works, then after 10/20 minutes just leaving it be, it comes back from limited internet and works fine, keep in mind during that time of limited internet on OT6, all other 3/4 devices work perfectly fine.

Hello and welcome to OnePlus community.

Did you check if the issue persists after rebooting your WiFi router, if not give it a try and see.

Have you checked if the same issue persists on a different WiFi network too.

nope, factory reset helped a bit actually dont see it happen that often now.. to be fair I never really had time to see if it happens on other wifis or just my home network..there is a good chance there might be something with my home dns configurations that my oneplus dont like

You could have tried to reset your Network Settings first before doing an entire factory reset.

To reset your Network Settings, go to Settings > Backup and Reset > Reset Network Settings > Reset Settings

The fix I did was this. Changed the IP Setting of phone's wifi setting from DHCP to Static. Every now and then when I encounter the issue, I change the IP value like incrementing by 1. It's annoying, honestly. But better than restarting the wifi modem every now and then.

Ahh.. I see.. I think the problem is with your router. It seems that your router either doesn't give you a proper Local IP Address or it just ran out of slot for your device.

Here are the options you could try:
    A) Make sure DHCP Server is turned on in your router.
    B) Check/Set the (User) Limit in your router and make sure that it has enough slots to accomodate all devices that you want to be connected to it.
    C) If you think your router is malfunctioning, and is giving same IP Addresses to more than 1 device, try doing a Factory Reset or Check for a Firmware Update in your router.

I did all those things buddy. This happens only to my OnePlus. Not at all to my other gadgets.

Are you still able to connect even if you set it to DHCP?

Yep yep. But it goes to no internet every once in a while. The wifi modem was set to DHCP as default.

Maybe it has something to do with the IP Address expiration in your router? Not really sure.. :/

Have you really tried doing a Factory Reset on your router?

Gone out of ways to solve this too. Haha. Yep, I did a factory reset for 2x already. Still no luck. But in other wifi, this thing doesn't happen. So something in my router is messing with my phone. But the thing is, only with my phone. Not with other gadgets in our house.
