Moderator don't try to give explanation for not receiving updates on OnePlus 9R. There is no connection between regular updates and major os update. They could have started the open beta for 9R. Samsung has already pushed Android 12 updates to its phones above 40000₹. Whereas OnePlus is busy with 9 and 9 Pro . This is really irritating.

OnePlus had the potential to become Apple of Android. Releasing only one or two phones and provide timely updates for them. Also fixing bugs . But now they have become like Xiaomi , Realme . No hope from them

Don't you think OnePlus 9R users are getting late update. No security patches. No open beta. Even the settings alignment issue is not fixed till now and OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro are getting updates for bug fixing. I have OnePlus 3t that's a very good device from OnePlus and got update till Android 9 but this time OnePlus disappointed me with OnePlus 9R

Well, the 9R has a Closed Beta.
And OnePlus provides updates bi-monthly. This update schedule was introduced in 2018 and is known.
The last update for the 9R was in December - the next will come in February (following the bi-monthly update schedule).

Even the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9Pro are getting bug fixing updates for 12 and there is Oneplus 9r where settings alignments are getting fixed by manually - Uninstall the updates etc. I spent 40k bucks not for doing job manually.

Delete the file in .OTA folder in internal storage, boot device and then download update again.

The 9R will get open beta once the update is stable enough to be called open beta. The 9-series are getting updates more frequently than bi-monthly because OOS12 stable has been kind of a mess, with some versions having major bugs that can't wait 2 months.

The settings alignment issue for Google is just a minor UI bug, and don't affect usage or performance in any way.

Do you only care for performance 😂?. Is it a UI bug not preferable for fixing. What a joke

I care about lot of thigs, but what I tried to tell you is that there are bugs, and then there are bugs... The 9-series has had updates released were it wasn't possible to make calls, 5G didn't work or plugging in the charger made the screen go black. Those things are way more serious and need to be fixed before a minor UI misalignment in settings.

I work in a software company, and bugs get fixed in this order usually:
    1. Critical - highest priority
    2. Major - high priority
    3. Minor - low priority

Sorry I have paid for OnePlus 9R so i want updates for OnePlus 9R. Don't care much about OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9Pro. If bugs not fixed for OnePlus 9 and 9 pro till I won't get update for OnePlus 9R because OnePlus 9 is more preferable.

I also work in software company. But there are different teams handling different product. Not all developers are working on same product. So why do OnePlus 8T and other devices got update in meantime. Are they supposed to fixing bug in OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 pro

They stopped the rollout in December.
It was the first time the EU build was released!
